the location was ideal, with easy access to the center of Ambleside and numerous hiking trails nearby. the keyless entry and Google-controlled heating were modern conveniences that added to the overall experience. the property itself was clean and well-maintained, with a private entrance, oven, washing machine, and other amenities that made my stay comfortable. the bathroom with a shower and hairdryer was a nice touch, and the towels provided were soft and luxurious. While the sofa bed in the living room was a bit inconvenient for just two guests, the overall layout of the holiday home was cozy and inviting. the mold in the kitchen was a slight drawback, but the beautiful Lake Windermere just 16 km away more than made up for it. Parking was a bit tight for my mini car, but it added to the charm of the area.
